PE & School Sports Coach

Successful candidate(s) will demonstrate;
1. Clear ability to perform at consistently high standards in a school environment;
· Able to plan a range of innovative coaching sessions and programs
· Set up and deliver high quality sports provision to children and young people
· Knowledge of the school PE National Curriculum
2. Excellent knowledge and Hold qualifications of sports coaching, which should include;
· At least 1 Sports Specific qualification
· Able to pass an Enhanced DBS Check and be deemed safe to work with children
· Recognised NGB Level 2 Coaching Certificate or above (Preferred)
· Sports Degree or equivalent (Desirable)
· Child Protection / Safeguarding Certificate (Desirable)
· First Aid Certificate (Required)
· 12 hour Pediatric first aid (Desirable)
Main Duties;
Delivering sport and physical activities to children and young people, both in School curriculum time following the PE National Curriculum and/or set programmes of study and also deliver a range of extracurricular activities before school, at lunch times, after school and in school holiday periods.
Skills and Experience:
· Have access to car and full driving license
· Computer Literate
· Reliable with strong time management
· Self-motivated and have a passion for teaching/coaching
· Experience and knowledge of working with children and young people
· Previous experience in a school environment preferable
Location
This job will be mainly based in a primary school around the Berkshire & Surrey areas.

Salary: £12.50-14.00 p/h
