Summary
We are seeking 2 dedicated Security Officer to join our team in the Craigavon area on a temporary basis initially, with the prospect of becoming permanent. Based at our clients' premises, these roles are vital in maintaining the safety and security of the site the suitable candidates will be based at. As a Security Officer at Mercury Security and Facilities Management Ltd, you will play a key part in upholding our commitment to excellence and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems including CCTV and surveillance equipment to ensure safety.
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned sites to prevent loss and maintain security.
- Respond promptly to security incidents or alarms.
- Assist with loss prevention strategies to protect client assets.
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary.
- Maintain detailed reports of daily activities and incidents.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to uphold security standards.
- Follow all company policies and legal regulations related to security procedures.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in security or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques.
- First aid certification is preferred.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Good communication skills and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required.
