About the Role
VF Electrical is looking for an experienced Qualified Electrician to join our growing electrical team, initially on a temporary basis/Permanent position.
The role will be primarily focused on jobbing, reactive maintenance and general electrical works, attending a variety of smaller jobs across Dundee and the surrounding areas.
Due to the varied nature of our workload, there may also be opportunities or requirements to work on larger electrical projects and other sites when needed. This could include commercial, industrial and other projects carried out by VF Services.
We are therefore looking for an electrician who is flexible, reliable and comfortable working across different types of electrical work and locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out primarily jobbing, reactive and maintenance electrical works.
- Attend a variety of customer sites and complete works to a high standard.
- Fault find and diagnose electrical issues.
- Complete electrical repairs, alterations and remedial works.
- Install and replace sockets, switches, lighting and other electrical accessories.
- Carry out small power and lighting installations.
- Complete testing and inspection where required.
- Work on other electrical projects and sites when required.
- Complete relevant paperwork, certificates and job reports.
- Liaise professionally with customers, clients and other contractors.
- Work independently while also supporting the wider electrical team.
- Follow company RAMS, health & safety procedures and site requirements.
Pay: From £18.90 per hour
