Overview
We are seeking experienced and professional Door Supervisors to join our events and festival team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security at our venues ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. As a Door Supervisor, you will be responsible for monitoring entry points and managing crowd control.
Duties
- Monitor the entrance and exit points of the venue to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
- Conduct thorough checks of bags and personal items as required.
- Implement effective crowd control measures during peak times or events.
- Provide assistance in emergency situations, including administering first aid when necessary.
- Maintain clear communication with team members to ensure a cohesive approach to security.
- Prepare incident reports detailing any occurrences or breaches of security.
- Good availability especially on weekends
Requirements
- Previous experience in a security role is preferred especially high end events and festivals with a minimum of 3 years experience
- Certification in first aid is highly desirable, as well as ACT and WAVE certification.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence is required for this position.
- 5 years of checkable work history

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
