This role is essential in ensuring a safe, comfortable, and welcoming space for residents, staff, and visitors. You will also oversee a team, supporting the smooth running of housekeeping services.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee daily cleaning tasks across resident rooms, communal areas, and offices.
- Supervise and manage a team of domestics and laundry assistants, allocating duties and ensuring performance standards are met.
- Ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Empty bins and maintain orderly arrangements of furniture and equipment.
- Replenish supplies such as toilet rolls, soap, and paper towels with attention to cost control.
- Obtain cleaning materials and supplies from the home’s storeroom.
- Ensure cleaning equipment is properly maintained and report faults or hazards promptly.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and quality standards, reporting non-conformances appropriately.
- Comply with Health & Safety regulations, including COSHH, environmental health, and fire safety.
- Adhere to infection control procedures to minimise risks within the home.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a high standard of service.
- Promote a homely, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere within the care environment.
- Report incidents, complaints, hazards, and accidents in line with procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality in line with data protection and GDPR requirements.
- Participate in training, meetings, and development activities as required.
- Undertake additional duties as needed to support the smooth operation of the home.

Requirements
- Enhanced DBS clearance.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role.
- Leadership skills to manage and supervise a team effectively.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Ability to carry out physical cleaning duties.
- Understanding of Health & Safety and infection control procedures.
- Willingness to undertake relevant training.
