Our client is a leading manufacturer within the cable management industry and is currently seeking an experienced Extrusion Setter / Operator to join their production team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled extrusion professional with experience in wire coating, hose extrusion, or pipe extrusion environments to join a well-established and growing business.
As an Extrusion Setter / Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining extrusion production lines, ensuring products are manufactured efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
- Setting up and preparing extrusion lines for production runs.

Operating and monitoring extrusion machinery to achieve production targets.

Carrying out machine adjustments and process optimisation.

Ensuring products meet quality specifications.

Troubleshooting and resolving production issues.

Packing finished products and preparing them for dispatch.

Completing production and quality documentation.

Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment.

Working closely with production teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Previous experience working as an Extrusion Setter.

Hands-on experience with co-extrusion processes.

Experience in wire coating, hose extrusion, or pipe extrusion manufacturing.

Experience processing materials including:
- PVC
-
Polyurethane (PU)
-
Megalon
-
Nylon
- Strong understanding of extrusion machinery setup and operation.

Experience setting up and packing production lines.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Competitive hourly rate from £14.00 per hour, with higher rates available for experienced candidates.
