Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Cleaner with the ability to drive to join our team. The ideal candidate will maintain cleanliness and hygiene in clients’ homes while also being able to travel safely between locations as required. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, enjoys helping others, and holds a valid driving license.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of homes, including floors, surfaces, kitchens, bathrooms, and bedrooms
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and polish furniture and fixtures
- Wash dishes, clean appliances, and assist with basic kitchen tidying
- Change bed linens, make beds, and do laundry when required
- Use cleaning equipment and products safely and efficiently
- Ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Report any household maintenance issues or concerns to clients or management
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning equipment and supplies
- Drive safely to and from client locations as required
Requirements
- Must hold a valid UK driving license and have confidence driving
- Previous experience in domestic cleaning preferred, but not essential
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Trustworthy, reliable, and respectful of clients’ homes and privacy
- Strong work ethic with a focus on quality and efficiency
- Basic household skills (laundry, tidying, kitchen cleaning)
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact politely and professionally with clients
- Flexibility to work different shifts or schedules as needed
