About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, organised, and detail-oriented Retail Shopper & Purchasing Assistant to support our RetailLab Market Research facility in Bromley.
This is a casual position with flexible hours, ideal for someone with excellent availability who enjoys working independently and visiting retail stores. Working closely with our RetailLab Manager, you will be responsible for purchasing products and packaging materials from a variety of retail locations to support upcoming field and research projects.
You will receive detailed shopping briefs, product specifications, and planograms that must be followed accurately to identify and purchase the correct products. As you will be using a company credit card for authorised purchases, we are seeking someone who is trustworthy, dependable, and highly organised.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit retail stores to purchase products required for project work.
- Follow detailed shopping briefs, planograms, and product specifications.
- Locate specific products, variants, and shelf-ready packaging accurately.
- Ensure purchased items meet all project requirements.
- Work independently while managing multiple store visits and deadlines.
- Use a company credit card responsibly for authorised purchases.
- Collect, organise, and submit all receipts accurately and promptly.
- Maintain detailed records of purchases and expenses.
- Track and record mileage using approved mapping tools such as Google Maps.
- Submit mileage claims and supporting evidence in line with company procedures.
- Deliver purchased products and materials to the Bromley RetailLab as required.
- Communicate regularly with the Bromley RetailLab Manager regarding project progress.

- Knowledge of planograms and retail store layouts.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Additional Information

Pay: From £13.50 per hour
