Experienced Machine Setter / Operator
Metal Mesh UK is a leading manufacturer of expanded metal products, based in Pershore. We are looking to recruit a conscientious, reliable, and experienced Machine Setter / Operator to join our busy production team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, take pride in producing high-quality work and be committed to maintaining the high standards our customers expect. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business and become part of a close knit team.
We serve a wide range of end user markets and manufacture a broad range of interesting expanded metal products which are created in a variety of alloys using bespoke, purpose built machinery. Because of this no prior industry experience is required however a track record of working within the metalworking sector and being able to demonstrate an excellent track record of machine setting and operating as well as being capable of working to deadlines and on your own initiative is essential for all applicants.
Full in-house training specific to our own equipment will be provided on the job. A current counterbalance FLT license is desirable. Standard working hours are 8.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
The starting rate of pay may be adjusted depending on candidate attributes and experience and will be reviewed following successful training and on the job development.
