Job Overview
Due to the expansion of Loveworld UK’s media production capacity and the development of a new studio facility in London, the organisation requires a dedicated Public Relations Manager to manage media engagement and communication activities.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Public Relations Manager to oversee and enhance the organisation’s public image. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic communication plans, managing media relations, and building strong relationships with stakeholders and media organisations.
This role provides an opportunity to support the organisation’s growing media operations and ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels while strengthening the organisation’s reputation and public engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies aligned with organisational goals and communication objectives.
- Manage media relations, including preparing press releases, organising media briefings, and responding to media enquiries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media outlets, and industry stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyse media coverage and public perception of the organisation.
- Coordinate events, campaigns, and outreach programmes to increase brand visibility and engagement.
- Oversee the organisation’s digital and social media communications to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
- Prepare speeches, presentations, and communication materials for senior management.
- Support the promotion and public visibility of the organisation’s expanding studio and media production activities.
- Manage crisis communication strategies to protect and maintain the organisation’s reputation.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in public relations, communications, or media relations, with demonstrated success managing PR campaigns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling messages for diverse audiences.
- Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Experience using social media platforms, media monitoring tools, and communication management systems.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with media organisations and stakeholders.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
