Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work on internal decoration.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes as necessary.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to a variety of surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Select appropriate materials and techniques for each project based on the specifications provided.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and provide recommendations as needed.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival and completion of tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in painting and decorating is essential.
- Strong communication skills in English to liaise with clients and team members effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
