Job Summary
Lev Liverpool is a growing fast company that manages 1000 properties across Merseyside. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Payment Collection Specialist to join our financial services team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the collection of outstanding payments from tenants and landlords, ensuring timely and accurate cash flow for the organization. Your efforts will directly contribute to maintaining healthy financial operations and fostering positive customer relationships. Responsibilities
- Contact tenants and landlords via phone, email, or other communication channels to follow up on overdue payments
- Verify payment details and update account information accurately within accounting software systems
- Maintain detailed records of collection activities
- Conduct analysis of outstanding accounts to prioritize collection efforts and identify potential risks
- Negotiate payment arrangements with tenants while maintaining professional etiquette
- Ensuring payments are made on time to clients
- Co-ordinating with teams to ensure invoices are made.
- Generate reports on collection progress and escalate unresolved issues to management as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounts payable, financial services, or collections roles is preferred - 2 years minimum
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Familiarity with accounting software and financial management tools, Arthur, Xero ect..
- Excellent analysis skills to assess account statuses and develop effective collection strategies
- Effective telemarketing skills combined with professional phone etiquette
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain confidentiality
