KS2 Teacher Job in Cheam, Sutton
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive mainstream primary school in Cheam, Sutton from September 2026.
This is a full-time supply teaching opportunity with the potential to continue on a long-term basis for the right candidate. The role would suit both experienced teachers and confident Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will join a friendly school community with a strong focus on academic achievement, inclusion and pupil wellbeing.
The Role:
As a KS2 Teacher, you will:
- Take full responsibility for a Key Stage 2 class
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
- Monitor, assess and support pupil progress
- Create a positive, inclusive and well-structured classroom environment
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and senior leaders
- Use educational technology, including Google Classroom, to support teaching and learning

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting
- Experience teaching Key Stage 2 is desirable
- Applications welcome from both experienced teachers and ECTs
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Confident using Google Classroom, or willing to quickly learn the platform
- Passion for primary education and helping pupils reach their full potential
- Ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team
