R. Plevin & Sons Ltd is one of the UK market leaders in wood recycling and a manufacturer of animal bedding. We are looking to recruit a Material Processor/Machine Driver (4 on 4 off day shift) at our site at Elkesley, Nr Retford DN22 8BT.
Working on a full time, permanent basis you will receive an initial competitive salary of £30,641.00 per annum.
As our Material Processor your duties will include:
- Loading material into trailers, ensuring the safe working procedures are followed
- Moving (wood-based) materials for onward processing
- Loading the hoppers and running the shredding machine
- Replenishing wood material into stacks
- Carrying out checks on mobile plant, fueling up, checking oil, water and greasing up.
- Carrying out a daily cleaning and housekeeping regime
There are other general operative duties expected to be done.
Key skills and experience needed to become our Material Processor:
Candidates must be reliable and willing to help.
For this role, it is essential to have experience of driving a loading shovel and a valid loading shovel licence. A forklift truck licence is also desirable.
Hours of Work:
4 on 4 off shift pattern : 06:00-18:00 hours
Average weekly hours: 40.25 hours
