We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist who will act as a key worker for patients throughout their cancer journey.
Providing person centered compassionate care to patients and their families.
Holistically assess patients’ needs and plan individual person centered are around those needs.
Have an in-depth knowledge and expertise in the speciality to provide patient information, advice and clinical care.
To provide education and be a resource to other health care professionals
This post plays a pivotal role in improving patient experience, clinical outcomes, and continuity of care for individuals as part of their cancer treatment. You will work closely with oncology consultants, nursing teams, pharmacy, and allied health professionals to deliver safe, evidence‑based, patient‑centred care.
Act as the key clinical point of contact for patients receiving cancer treatment
Provide specialist clinical advice, education, and support to patients and their families
Develop and maintain patient information resources and education materials
Support informed decision‑making and holistic needs assessments
Contribute to service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
Provide education and support to nursing and multidisciplinary colleagues
Work autonomously within agreed protocols while collaborating closely with the MDT
