Role Summary
Medinet is seeking experienced and highly skilled Paediatric Audiologists to deliver outpatient paediatric audiology clinics.
The successful candidates will provide assessment and rehabilitation hearing aid clinics for preschool and school‑aged children. This role requires experienced practitioners capable of working autonomously within a high‑assurance NHS Paediatric Audiology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct paediatric audiology outpatient clinics, including:
- Hearing assessments (30‑minute slots)
- Hearing aid review and rehabilitation appointments (60‑minute slots)
- Manage 8 hours of mixed clinic activity per day.
- Provide high‑quality care to:
- Preschool children (under 5s)
- School‑aged children (5 years and above)
- Participate in multi‑disciplinary team (MDT) discussions where appropriate.
- Use relevant clinical software, including:
- Auditbase
- Otosuite
- Phonak hearing aid software
- Deliver services in accordance with NHS Paediatric Audiology high‑assurance standards under the Paediatric Hearing Services Improvement Programme (PHSIP).Essential Requirements
- Qualified and fully competent Paediatric Audiologist with substantial experience in a high‑assurance NHS Paediatric Audiology Department.
- Ability to work independently and manage a paediatric caseload safely and effectively.
- Proficiency with:
- Auditbase
- Otosuite
- Phonak hearing aid programming software
- Demonstrable experience delivering:
- Paediatric audiology assessments
- Rehabilitation and hearing aid fitting/reviews
Essential Requirements
