Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites to perform tyre fitting, repairs, and replacements with precision and efficiency
- Use a variety of hand tools and power tools to remove, install, and balance tyres on different vehicle types
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential issues related to tyres or suspension systems
- Maintain a high standard of safety by adhering to all health and safety regulations during on-site work
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Lift heavy tyres safely and correctly, utilizing proper techniques and equipment to prevent injury
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience working with tyres, wheels, or automotive components
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and tyre levers; familiarity with power tools is a plus
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks accurately while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and manual handling of tyres and equipment
- Prior experience in automotive or tyre fitting roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Must have a Manual driving licence over 2 years with maximum 6 points.
- Must be able to drive a Van
