Building Surveying Administrator
Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 per annum, depending on experience

About the Role
We are looking for an organised, proactive and personable Building Surveying Administrator to join our growing surveying team.
This is a varied role providing day-to-day administrative support to our Building Surveyors and wider team. The successful candidate will play an important part in keeping projects, surveys and client instructions running smoothly, from the initial enquiry through to completion.
The role would suit someone with previous administrative experience, ideally within property, construction, surveying or another professional services environment, although this is not essential for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing general administrative support to Building Surveyors and the wider surveying team.
- Managing incoming enquiries, emails and telephone calls.
- Booking property inspections, surveys and site visits.
- Liaising with clients, property owners, agents, contractors and other professionals.
- Preparing and issuing appointment confirmations and client documentation.
- Setting up new jobs and maintaining accurate project and client records.
- Assisting with the formatting, checking and issuing of Building Survey reports, defect reports, schedules and other professional documents.
- Preparing fee proposals, quotations and instruction documentation.
- Monitoring outstanding information and following up with clients and third parties where required.
- Maintaining surveyors' diaries and coordinating appointments.
- Assisting with invoicing and monitoring outstanding fees where required.
- Uploading reports and documentation to client and lender portals.
- Maintaining electronic filing systems and ensuring documentation is accurately recorded.
- Assisting with project administration, including contractor correspondence, meeting notes and document control.
- Providing general office and administrative support as required.

Experience
Previous administrative experience is preferred.
Experience within any of the following would be advantageous but is not essential:
- Building surveying

- Estate agency

Training will be provided for the right candidate.
