Salary: £40,000 per annum
Location: Canterbury (Hybrid working available following probation)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.30pm (37.5 hours per week)

About the role
Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering our digital marketing strategy, ensuring every campaign supports business growth and strengthens the QMT Commercial brand.
You'll lead a small marketing team, providing direction, support and coaching while ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard and on time.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys thinking strategically but is equally happy rolling their sleeves up and getting involved in day-to-day marketing activity.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and implement the company's digital marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead, mentor and develop a small in-house marketing team.
- Own and grow our social media presence across multiple platforms through engaging, creative and data-driven content.
- Plan, deliver and optimise digital marketing campaigns including paid social, PPC, email marketing and SEO initiatives.
- Manage the content calendar, ensuring consistent messaging across all digital channels.
- Oversee website performance, user experience and conversion optimisation.
- Analyse campaign performance using data and reporting tools, providing regular insight and recommendations to senior management.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and emerging marketing technologies.
- Work closely with internal departments to support business initiatives, product launches and sales campaigns.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, suppliers and partners where required.
- Ensure all marketing activity complies with relevant regulations and brand guidelines.
- Manage the marketing budget and maximise return on investment across all activity.
- Drive innovation and continuously look for opportunities to improve marketing performance.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who is passionate about digital marketing and understands how to turn ideas into measurable business results.
You'll have:
- Proven experience in a marketing management or senior digital marketing role.
- Experience managing or mentoring a team.
- Strong knowledge of social media strategy, content creation and community engagement.
- Experience across PPC, SEO, email marketing and digital advertising.
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
- Confidence using analytics to measure performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience managing multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to challenge ideas and drive improvements.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to build positive relationships across the business.
Desirable
- Marketing qualification or degree.
- Experience within financial services, insurance or another regulated industry.
- Experience using CRM systems and marketing automation platforms.
- Knowledge of website CMS platforms and basic HTML/CSS.
