IT Support Engineer - 1st Line

Hours of Work: Initially Mon-Fri, 8:45-5:00

We are a UK company specializing in ultrasound imaging and reporting. We are the exclusive UK distributor of the GE ViewPoint ultrasound reporting application.
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an IT Support Engineer to join our team of dedicated professionals, delivering quality technology solutions to improve clinical reporting and patient care.
As an IT Support Engineer, you will assist us in providing a positive customer experience and satisfaction by providing continuing technical and application assistance and expertise to our large installed base of users in both NHS trusts and private clinics across the UK.
IT Support Engineer Responsibilities:
· Provide 1st line telephone support to customers who have questions or issues related to the application
· Answer calls and emails in a timely confident manner
· Log calls, assess calls and transfer calls to the relevant team members
· Troubleshoot and assist in solving issues
· Complete the regular system tasks
· Complete the adding of users and dealing with password resets
· Prepared to learn new things
IT Support Engineer Requirements:
· Ideally aged 21 (younger confident individuals considered aged 19+)
.Two years college or work experience
· Ideally 1 years customer experience
· Good written and verbal communication skills
· Professional telephone manner
· Organized and timely
· A commitment to ensuring timely, professional responses to customer issues
· Enjoy customer interaction and happy to liaise with customers internally and externally via phone and email
· Good problem-solving skills and the confidence to quickly acquire new skills
· The ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Interest in IT and a desire to learn new things
