About the Role:
Somerby Pharmacy is looking for a reliable and professional Pharmacy Delivery Driver to join our growing delivery team. You will start your route from Somerby Pharmacy Oadby, collecting prescription parcels, then travel to Kibworth Pharmacy to collect further parcels before delivering to patients across Kibworth and the surrounding villages, including areas around Market Harborough, Oadby and Wigston and Leicester.
This is an important role where patients rely on you to receive their medication safely, securely and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect prescription parcels from Somerby Pharmacy Oadby
- Collect additional parcels from Kibworth Pharmacy
- Deliver medication to patients across Kibworth, surrounding villages, Market Harborough, Oadby and Wigston and Leicester
- Follow planned delivery routes efficiently and use initiative
- Handle prescription parcels safely, discreetly and professionally
- Confirm deliveries according to pharmacy procedures
- Report failed deliveries or patient issues back to the pharmacy
- Communicate politely with patients and pharmacy staff
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Support the pharmacy team with delivery organisation where needed

- Comfortable using a phone/maps for navigation
- Able to work independently
- Flexible and willing to support a growing pharmacy service
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Good local area knowledge preferred
- Must be reliable and presentable
- Pharmacy delivery experience preferred but not essential
- DBS check may be required
