Marketing Manager

The Role:
As Marketing Manager, you'll be at the centre of our marketing function, supporting initiatives that enhance Cleanology's brand, generate new business opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and promote our culture and values.
No two days will be the same. One morning you could be launching an email campaign, creating LinkedIn content, and analysing campaign performance; by the afternoon you might be coordinating an event, liaising with suppliers, or helping develop content for a new business proposal.
This is a hands-on role with genuine responsibility from day one. We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive, creative, and eager to learn, with a willingness to get involved wherever needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Management & Lead Generation
- Help to create and develop Cleanology’s marketing strategy.
- Support the planning, delivery, and optimisation of integrated marketing campaigns across email, social media, digital, events, and partner channels.
- Assist in creating lead generation campaigns that drive sales opportunities and support business growth.
- Build, schedule, and monitor email marketing campaigns, e-newsletters, and customer communications.
- Support campaign reporting and analysis, identifying opportunities to improve engagement and ROI.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure marketing activity aligns with commercial objectives.
Brand & Content Marketing
- Create engaging content for websites, social media platforms, email campaigns, presentations, case studies, and sales materials.
- Help maintain and strengthen the Cleanology brand across all channels and communications.
- Support content planning and scheduling, particularly across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant platforms.
- Assist in developing customer success stories, testimonials, and thought leadership content.
- Ensure all marketing materials are professionally presented, on-brand, and aligned with company messaging.
Events & Partnerships
- Support the planning and execution of client events, networking functions, industry exhibitions, award ceremonies, and internal company events.
- Coordinate suppliers, venues, attendee communications, guest lists, budgets, and logistics.
- Attend events where required and act as a positive ambassador for the business.
- Manage post-event reporting, analysis, and follow-up activities.
- Build strong relationships with partners, suppliers, industry associations, and other key stakeholders.
Digital Marketing & Website Management
- Assist with website updates, content management, and ongoing optimisation projects.
- Support social media management, content scheduling, and community engagement.
- Monitor online performance and user engagement across digital channels.
- Help identify opportunities to improve user experience and website conversion rates.
Marketing Operations & Reporting
- Develop and manage the marketing activity calendar, overseeing the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of campaigns and initiatives
- Manage marketing data, campaign records, and CRM activity.
- Support the day-to-day administration of Salesforce and other marketing platforms.
- Produce weekly and monthly reports using CRM, website analytics, and campaign performance data.
- Analyse trends, monitor key performance indicators, and provide recommendations for future activity.
- Maintain marketing calendars, project plans, trackers, and reporting documents to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Content Creation & Brand Assets
- Support photography and videography requirements for events, company initiatives, recruitment campaigns, and client success stories.
- Create and edit visual content for digital marketing campaigns, social media, and internal communications.
- Develop presentations, promotional materials, and branded assets using design platforms such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
Innovation & AI
- Utilise AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and emerging technologies to support content creation, research, reporting, campaign planning, and operational efficiencies.
- Continuously seek innovative ways to improve marketing effectiveness and streamline processes.
- Bring new ideas and creative thinking to campaigns, events, and brand-building initiatives.
About You:
Essential
- Experience supporting marketing campaigns and marketing activity across multiple channels. Typically gained through around 2 years of relevant marketing experience.
- Experience supporting marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Strong copywriting and communication skills.
- Experience using CRM systems and marketing platforms.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage your own workload while collaborating effectively with colleagues.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse marketing performance and identify insights.
- Comfortable building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem solving, willingness to learn, and confidence taking responsibility for assigned projects.
Desirable
- Experience using Salesforce, GA4, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Dotdigital, or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting lead generation and B2B marketing campaigns.
- Previous experience planning and delivering events.
- Photography, videography, and video editing skills.
- An interest in learning about facilities management, commercial cleaning, or B2B service industries would be beneficial.
- Experience using AI tools to enhance productivity and marketing effectiveness.
