Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roofer to join our on-site team. The ideal candidate will have experience in roofing installation and repair, with a strong understanding of construction principles and safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial buildings, contributing to high-quality roofing solutions. Applicants should be physically fit, reliable, and committed to delivering excellent craftsmanship.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain various types of roofing systems using appropriate materials and techniques. We install all type of roofs so any specialised knowledge is welcome.
- Read and interpret technical drawings as well as client scope of works.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and effectively.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials such as tiles, metal sheets, and other roofing components
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and injuries on site
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within designated timeframes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout each project phase
Qualifications
- CSCS card
- Proven experience in roofing
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
- Strong understanding of construction principles related to roofing systems
- Physical fitness to perform demanding tasks including heavy lifting and working at heights
- Relevant certifications or training in roofing or construction disciplines preferred but not essential
- Good communication skills and a commitment to safety standards
