Project Engineer
Climavent Systems are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Engineer to work on Local Exhaust Ventilation projects throughout the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will have proven experience working on projects typically from £10,000 up to £1,000,000.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in engineering. Climavent will provide full training in the design and installation of Local Exhaust Ventilation Systems. The Project Engineer must be able to manage multiple projects at once.
Climavent Systems have been established for over 25 years and are a world leader in the Local Exhaust ventilation industry working with companies such as Rolls Royce, Babcock International, Coca-Cola and BAE Systems. Our product range varies from Mobile Fume Units to fixed Ductwork systems.
Key Duties Include:
- Experience of Mechanical Project Management is essential.
- Work on projects around the UK.
- Working alongside the design team & other project managers.
- Day to day management of the projects including labour resources.
- Work to agreed time and budgets.
- Ensure high standards of quality and efficiency are maintained throughout.
- Management of Health and Safety throughout the project lifecycle.
- Pre-start project planning.
- Complete on-site technical surveys
- Programme Management.
- Production and review of Risk assessments and Method statements.
- Production of project reports.
- Compilation of O&M manuals
- Technical support and feedback into installation teams and designers.
- Client liaison and relationship building.
- Site Management
Experience & Requirements
- 3 Years Project Management
- Engineering qualification or relevant industrial experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft – especially Excel.
- Hold a valid UK Driving Licence.
- Willingness to travel.
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday 8.00am-5.00pm
- Friday 8.00am-2.30pm
Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
