We are a successful and rapidly growing ambient food fulfilment business, supplying packaged food products to online and trade customers. Following the opening of our additional site in Sywell, we are recruiting permanent Warehouse Operatives and Order Picker/Packers for both our Raunds and Sywell locations.
This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, hardworking people looking for the security and stability of a permanent position. Your regular working days will be Tuesday through to Saturday inclusive, providing a consistent weekly schedule. Number of hours per day can be negotiated if full time doesn't suit.
The role
Working as part of a supportive warehouse team, you will be responsible for accurately picking and efficiently packing customers’ daily orders. You will use handheld scanners to ensure orders are completed to a high standard and within the required timeframes.
Your duties will include:
- Picking and packing products for delivery to customers
- Using handheld scanners accurately and efficiently
- Unpacking and replenishing new stock
- Completing paperwork as required
- Assisting with stocktakes
- Carrying out other general warehouse duties
About you
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Previous order-picking experience in a warehouse, distribution centre or similar environment
- A reliable and methodical approach to work
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- A positive and flexible attitude
- Commitment to working Tuesday to Saturday on a permanent basis
