About Vigilance
Vigilance Ltd provides professional security services across events, venues, corporate sites and public-facing environments. We are looking for reliable, switched-on and well-presented SIA Door Supervisors to join our casual event security team.
This is not just “standing on a gate”. Our officers are expected to protect people, support the event operation, represent the client professionally and deal with issues calmly before they become incidents.
We are looking for people who take pride in the job.
The Role
You may be deployed across a range of event security positions, including:
- Entry and access control
- Search and screening
- Asset protection
- Crowd monitoring
- Backstage / restricted area security
- Pit / front-of-stage support
- Response roles
- Traffic, queue and perimeter positions
- Customer-facing reassurance roles
You will be expected to follow briefings, communicate clearly, report issues properly and work as part of a disciplined team.

Previous event security experience is preferred, but attitude, reliability and professionalism are just as important.
Essential Requirements
You must have:
- A valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
- Right to work in the UK
- Good spoken and written English
- Ability to provide documents for screening and onboarding
- Ability to travel to event sites
- A professional standard of conduct
- Availability for weekends, evenings and event days
Desirable Experience
Experience in any of the following would be an advantage:
- Festivals
- Stadiums
- Concerts
- Corporate events
- Licensed venues
- Search roles
- Response teams
- Front-of-stage / pit barrier
- Control room / radio work
- Supervisor or team leader roles

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
