Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Office Administrator/Receptionist to join our team. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be the first point of contact for visitors and callers while supporting daily administrative operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency with office technology to ensure smooth and efficient office functions.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly, directing inquiries to the appropriate team members with courtesy and professionalism.
- Manage front desk activities, including signing in visitors and maintaining visitor logs.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office applications and Google Workspace tools.
- Maintain organised filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, for easy retrieval of documents.
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, preparing correspondence, and managing office supplies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in an office environment or as a receptionist.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar).
- Experience with data entry, clerical tasks, and managing phone etiquette effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Typing skills that ensure quick and accurate document processing.
- Demonstrated ability to provide friendly and professional customer service with attention to detail.
