Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Assist in the procurement of goods and services by processing purchase orders through ERP systems.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery, quality standards, and cost-effective purchasing solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, supplier contracts, and inventory levels.
- Support negotiations with vendors to secure favourable terms and pricing while fostering strong supplier relationships.
- Coordinate logistics and delivery schedules to optimise supply chain efficiency and minimise delays.
- Monitor stock levels and collaborate with merchandising teams to forecast future needs based on sales trends and inventory data.
- Utilise ERP systems to track procurement metrics, analyse data for continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with company policies.
Experience
- Proven experience working with ERP systems in a procurement or supply chain environment.
- Strong negotiation skills demonstrated through previous vendor interactions or purchasing roles.
- Knowledge of logistics operations and supply chain management principles.
- Familiarity with merchandising processes and inventory management practices.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Prior experience in a purchasing or junior buyer role is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
