Whibleys The Jewellers (est. 1894) is seeking an experienced Full Time Assistant Manager to support our Guildford and Horsham branches. We are a long‑established, family‑run jewellers known for exceptional customer service and a wide range of fine jewellery, diamonds, and coloured gemstones.
About the role
We are looking for someone with strong sales background and previous jewellery experience to join and become an integral part of our friendly, customer focused business.
- Support daily store operations across both branches
- Deliver outstanding customer service and product knowledge
- Assist with supervising and motivating the sales team
- Help maintain store presentation, security, and stock control
- Contribute to achieving sales targets and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous jewellery retail experience essential (ideally with diamonds, gemstones, engagement rings, and fine jewellery)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Professional, confident, and able to build rapport with clients
- Reliable, organised, and comfortable supporting a small team
- Full UK driving licence required (travel between branches)
