Position: Mobile PSV Technician
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
Shift: Monday to Friday, Day Shift
Overtime: Available & Optional
Location: Midlands
We are currently looking for a Mobile PSV Engineer / Mobile Bus Mechanic / Mobile PSV Technician / Mobile HGV Mechanic to join our clients dedicated Engineering team in their commitment in providing a high standard of service output for their customers.
Mobile PSV Engineer / Mobile Bus Mechanic / Mobile PSV Technician / Mobile HGV Mechanic Required Qualifications:
· City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repairs
· Car Driving licence (Category D would be advantageous)
· Advanced knowledge of PSV systems, diagnostics, electrical systems, engines, transmissions, and braking systems
· Experience using modern diagnostic equipment and software
Mobile PSV Engineer / Mobile Bus Mechanic / Mobile PSV Technician / Mobile HGV Mechanic Main Duties:
- Diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic faults on modern PSV fleets.
- Carrying out advanced repairs, component replacements, and vehicle overhauls to manufacturer and company standards.
- Supporting engineering teams with specialist technical investigations and fault resolution.
- Performing preventative maintenance inspections and identifying opportunities to improve fleet reliability.
- Using advanced diagnostic software and equipment to analyse and rectify vehicle defects.
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring to technicians and apprentices.
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and ensuring compliance with all engineering procedures.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the engineering function.
· Ensuring full compliance with health and safety requirements and DVSA regulations
