Role Summary
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Planned Maintenance Technician to join the Legrand Care Service team.
This position is ideal for someone at an early stage of their career, or looking to move into a technical role, with a genuine interest in electronics, connected devices, and smart technologies.
Role Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on connected care equipment and systems
- Perform basic troubleshooting and fault diagnosis, following structured procedures
- Complete maintenance tasks in line with schedules and company standards
- Accurately record maintenance activities and report any issues identified
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Support continuous improvement of maintenance processes and service quality
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and provide a professional service to customers
Role Requirements
Essential
- Strong interest in technical systems, electronics, or connected devices
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
- Well-organised with the ability to follow processes and schedules
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
- Basic digital literacy (ability to use apps, reporting tools, etc.)
- Full valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the UK
- Flexible approach to working hours
Desirable (but not required)
- Any initial experience in a technical, maintenance, or support role
- Basic understanding of electrical or electronic systems
- Apprenticeship, technical training, or similar (not essential)
