Duties
Assist with site preparation by clearing debris, organizing materials, and setting up safety barriers to ensure a secure working environment.
Support skilled tradespeople by delivering tools, equipment, and materials promptly to keep work progressing smoothly.
Help with mixing, pouring, and spreading concrete or other materials as directed by supervisors.
Maintain a tidy and safe worksite by removing waste, securing tools, and adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Assist in loading and unloading supplies from trucks and storage areas, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
Participate in site inspections and safety checks to uphold high standards of health and safety compliance.
Support general labor tasks such as digging trenches, assembling scaffolding, or assisting with minor carpentry tasks under supervision.
Qualifications
A strong work ethic with enthusiasm for physically demanding tasks in a construction setting.
Basic understanding of health and safety practices relevant to building sites.
Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a team.
Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for maintaining project schedules.
