Job title: Maintenance Assistant
Salary: £30-£32k per annum perm full time
Job Type: Permanent, full-time
Hours pw: 40 hours per week
Rota basis to cover 5 out of 7 days

About the Role
We are currently looking for a maintenance assistant to work in and around our Grade II listed building, home of the Arthur Findlay College. The ideal candidate will understand mechanical and technical systems.
Main Responsibilities
- Fire Marshall duties.
- Follow all health and safety rules and regulations.
- As part of the team, maintain a safety-conscious work environment.
- Take direction from management.
- Deliver repair and installation activities.
- Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
- Ensure health and safety policies and procedures are complied with.
- Form effective working relationships with colleagues and senior management team.
- Maintain a professional and proactive attitude towards students, tutors, visitors and colleagues.
Personal Attributes
- Ability to consistently maintain positive relationships with own team and others.
- Experience in a maintenance role.
- Knowledge in a variety of mechanical systems.
- Basic computer skills
Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
