We’re developing more than a hotel, pub, and restaurant, we’re creating a sustainable hospitality business rooted deeply in Cumbria’s land, people, and traditions. With produce sourced from local farms and a genuine field-to-fork ethos, we bring the valley to the plate, and we’re looking for a rising star to join our kitchen leadership team.

The Role
As Sous Chef, you’ll be working alongside our talented Head Chef to craft memorable guest experiences. You’ll be empowered with real autonomy and trusted to bring your own ideas, energy and flair to the role. It’s the ideal next step for someone eager to make their mark in a business that cares deeply about people, planet, and provenance.

About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a minimum of 4 years’ experience in fresh food kitchens, but more importantly, a hunger to keep learning.
- A love and passion for real, authentic food and local produce
- Loves people and thrives in a guest-focused, service-led environment.
- Brings strong leadership skills.
- Shares our passion for sustainability, quality & provenance
- Is energised by the outdoors and the chance to live in one of the UK’s most beautiful areas.
- Might have experience with kitchen gardens (a bonus, not essential).

- Salary £32k - £36k + gratuities + bonus
