MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
- To ensure all warehouse areas are maintained in accordance with site procedures whilst effectively and efficiently unloading deliveries and delivering goods to production.
- Effectively picking, building, and loading out orders for customers.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- To load and off load lorries.
- To complete relevant paperwork.
- To ensure stock rotation is completed and maintained at all times.
- To deliver ingredients and packaging to production lines.
- To pick and build orders with customer requirements.
- To maintain “Goods In” Quality System.
- To keeps are areas of the warehouse clean and tidy
- To adhere to all health and safety procedures.
- To work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Any other duties as required.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Experience -
- Forklift driving and loading/unloading experience is desirable.
Qualifications –
- Counterbalance forklift licence is essential
- Shunter Licence- Desirable
- Reach Truck Licence- Desirable
- Literacy and numeracy skills
- Computer Skills
Skills –
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with people (internal and external) across all levels
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
Shift Pattern- Rotational- 06:30-18:30
Week 1- Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Week 2- Wednesday and Thursday
