Role Summary
The Logistics & Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the efficient day-to-day movement of goods into and out of PB Asher. This role ensures all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately, inventory is maintained to a high standard, and warehouse operations remain organised, safe and efficient.
Working closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents and internal departments, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring parts and equipment are available when required while maintaining excellent stock accuracy and warehouse organisation
Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Shipping
- Coordinate all incoming and outgoing domestic and international shipments.
- Liaise with courier companies, freight forwarders and logistics providers to arrange collections and deliveries.
- Prepare shipping documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists and customs paperwork.
- Respond to customs and freight queries to ensure timely clearance of goods.
- Track deliveries and proactively resolve shipment issues.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, accurately and on time.
Warehouse Operations
- Receive, inspect and book in incoming goods.
- Verify deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
- Correctly store stock within warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
- Ensure all outgoing goods are labelled, packaged and documented correctly.
- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient warehouse environment.
- Support continuous improvement of warehouse processes.
Stock Control
- Maintain accurate inventory records using Sage.
- Carry out regular stock checks and cycle counts.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
- Organise and maintain parts within the Rotomat storage system and other warehouse locations.
- Assist with inventory optimisation and stock replenishment activities.
Parts & Operational Support
- Support the Parts department with the picking, packing and dispatch of parts and components.
- Prepare and issue parts and equipment required by the workshop for ongoing builds, repairs and service work.
- Coordinate and prepare parts, tooling and equipment for Field Service Engineers to ensure jobs are fully equipped prior to mobilisation.
- Maintain accurate stock availability to support workshop production schedules and field service requirements.
- Assist with parts enquiries and order fulfilment as delegated.
- Ensure parts are correctly identified, labelled and stored within the Rotomat and warehouse locations.
- Liaise with the Parts, Workshop and Field Operations teams to ensure materials are available when required and urgent requests are prioritised.
- Support the efficient movement of parts between departments to minimise delays and maintain operational productivity.
Systems & Administration
- Update Sage with goods received, stock movements and dispatch information.
- Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records.
- File and retain freight and customs documentation.
- Produce reports as required.
Health, Safety & Quality
- Follow all company Health & Safety procedures.
- Maintain a safe and tidy warehouse environment.
- Ensure safe manual handling practices are followed.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work in accordance with PB Asher quality procedures.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience.
- Experience coordinating freight and deliveries.
- Good understanding of stock control.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office.
- Experience using ERP systems such as Sage.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
- Good communication skills.
- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one).
Desirable
- Experience with import/export documentation.
- Knowledge of UK customs procedures.
- Experience using warehouse storage systems such as Rotomat.
- Experience within engineering, manufacturing or industrial environments.

Pay: £32,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
