We're looking for a passionate, motivated, and dedicated Apprentice Tattoo Artist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is serious about building a long-term career in tattooing and is prepared to commit to the discipline, creativity, and hard work the profession demands.
What You'll Be Learning
Working alongside experienced tattoo artists, you'll receive hands-on training in:
- Studio hygiene, infection control, and health & safety procedures
- Client consultations and customer service
- Drawing, stencil preparation, and design development
- Setting up and breaking down tattoo workstations
- Front desk administration and appointment management
- Social media content creation and supporting the studio's brand
- Shadowing experienced artists during tattoo procedures
- Progressive practical tattoo training as your skills develop
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- A genuine passion for tattooing and the tattoo industry
- Strong drawing and artistic ability (portfolio required)
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to accept and apply constructive feedback
- A clean, organised approach and respect for studio standards
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced creative environment
Essential Requirements
- Must be aged 18 or over
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK
- Portfolio of artwork required with your application
- Available to work full-time, including some weekends
Desirable Skills
- Background in art or design
- Digital illustration experience (Procreate, Photoshop, or similar)
- Previous customer service or retail experience
- Social media or content creation experience
