Overview
Tunnelcraft are seeking a experienced, proactive and detail-oriented Civil Supervisor to lead and oversee civils groundworks projects from start to finish. In this vital role, you will coordinate teams, manage schedules, and ensure that all civil works are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications. Your leadership will drive project success while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily civil construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety protocols
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to schedule work phases and resolve on-site issues promptly
- Lead and supervise construction teams, providing clear instructions, guidance, and support to optimize productivity
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality standards, safety compliance, and progress milestones
- Manage on-site resources effectively, including materials, equipment, and manpower, to prevent delays or wastage
- Prepare detailed reports on project status, site conditions, and any incidents or deviations for stakeholders
Skills
- Proven management experience in civil construction projects with a strong understanding of site operations
- Supervising experience that demonstrates leadership in coordinating teams and resolving on-site challenges
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members, clients, and contractors
