Are you a caring, compassionate and respectful person? Are you a sociable person that likes meeting new people? We are looking for exceptional people to join our team of experienced carers to help vulnerable people to live happy, fulfilling and independent lives within their own homes.
Whether you come to us with direct experience in care, personally or professionally, or are just starting out – we’ll support you with on-going training and mentoring to help you to help others.
You’ll join an independently-owned, family run business with over 25 years of experience of providing person-centred care.
A typical day in the life of an S&S Home Carer will involve supporting a number of different individuals with a variety of support needs. Responsibilities can be varied and changing, but may include:
- Support with medication
- Companionship and wellbeing support
- Help with everyday tasks from cooking a meal to light housework
- Supporting your clients to access their community by accompanying them to the shops or appointments
- Help with washing, dressing or bathing
Your experience isn’t important as we will support you with all the training and development you need to develop and grow your career with us. What is more important is treating every client like a friend or family member of your own. With these values and help from us, you’ll have everything you need to be an amazing carer.
Whether you have previous experience in the care sector, have raised your own children or cared for a family member, or perhaps looking for a new challenge, this opportunity could be the rewarding career you've been looking for.
We are currently recruiting for a working night role and have immediate positions available in the Settle area. This also entails working every other weekend.
If you share our values, have an extremely caring nature and wish to give back to the community, then we would love to hear from you. Apply now or call us on: 01535 656654 for more information.
