Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking passionate Female Relief Support Workers to join our incredible team in Rochdale.
As a Relief Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.
From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their life.
This is a busy house with lots of different activities, there are two ladies live at this property who are very different people but live together very well.
We both like music, socialising. One lady likes to be out and about every day, walking is essential for her health, but just a short walk. She likes to go to shows, pantomimes etc, the louder and the better. Coffee shops and cafes to people watch.
The other lady likes a bit more of a chilled day, a short walk, a drive, a social activity and then back home.
Both ladies have cars and these are used daily, so a confident driver is needed. We both have health conditions that need monitoring and recording daily.
You will need to be resilient, caring, willing to try different activities and have a happy positive attitude and be abler to work well within a team and also alone.
