This is an unusual opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, leadership and getting stuck into different environments. Rather than being based permanently in one office, you’ll step into branches across the region when additional management support is required.
It could be a particularly good move for an experienced Lettings Manager or Assistant Manager who wants greater exposure across a successful multi-branch operation and the opportunity to progress further.
The role
You’ll provide management cover across a number of East Kent locations, supporting branches during periods such as holidays, vacancies and absence.
When you're in a branch, you'll take responsibility for keeping performance moving in the right direction. That will include leading morning meetings, coaching and motivating the team, driving new business activity and maintaining high standards of customer service.
You'll also remain hands-on with lettings, including generating instructions, advising landlords, supporting negotiations and ensuring opportunities are followed through effectively.
Because you'll work across different offices and markets, you'll need to be comfortable walking into a branch, quickly understanding what needs attention and building credibility with the team.
What we're looking for
We're particularly interested in speaking with people who already have strong estate agency lettings experience and are confident taking responsibility for a branch and its performance.
You'll need to be commercially minded, confident generating new business and capable of leading and motivating others.
Experience winning instructions and providing landlords with market advice will be important, as will the ability to adapt quickly to different teams and locations.
Above all, we're looking for someone ambitious, energetic and comfortable being accountable for results.
Package
Basic salary: £35,000
Expected earnings: £45,000–£50,000 including commission
Car: £3,000 car allowance or company car
Working pattern: 5 days per week, including some Saturdays on a rota
Location: East Kent – multi-branch / floating position
There is also a wider benefits package including 33 days' holiday, birthday leave, pension, life insurance, incentives and ongoing training and career development.
