About the Role
We’re looking for a coffee professional to join our team as a Specialty Barista.
This is a hands-on role for someone who genuinely loves coffee and wants to deepen their craft—from service and workflow on bar, to tasting, cupping and brewing.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing and serving high-quality espresso-based drinks and filter coffee
- Delivering excellent hospitality and clear communication with customers
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional bar space
- Looking after equipment with care and respect
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone with a genuine interest in specialty coffee and the willingness to learn.

- A real passion for specialty coffee (this matters most)
- High attention to detail and pride in consistent results
- Calm, patient, and professional under pressure
- Clean, organised, and careful in your working style
- Strong communication skills and a respectful approach
- Trustworthy, honest, and reliable
- Able to be on your feet for long shifts (up to 10 hours)
- A strong team player who supports others and contributes to a positive culture
- Forward-thinking: you can plan ahead and communicate what the team needs for the next few days
Evidence of Passion (what we love to see)-
You don’t need to be a social media influencer—but we love applicants who actively engage with specialty coffee. That could look like:
- Visiting specialty coffee shops
- Brewing coffee at home
- Following coffee producers, roasters, and cafés
- Reading, learning, tasting, and experimenting
Desirable (but not essential)-
- Previous specialty barista experience
- Familiarity with espresso dial-in and basic brewing theory
- Food Safety Level 2 (or willingness to obtain)
