Our centralised lettings team is expanding to cover exciting new sites! We're keen to hear from people with a property or hospitality background, as the role's focus is to deliver amazing service to prospective tenants - really selling the vision and USP's of Single Family Housing to people, while matching them to their ideal home.
Role Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Support the busy lettings department in Leeds city centre, handling lets across our Single Family Housing estates. Working closely with the Lettings Negotiators who agree the initial let, you will carry on the rapport built with each customer to give a first-class customer experience for the remainder of their move in process.
- Take full ownership of tenancy progression through to move-in.
- Ensure customers feel updated and supported throughout referencing, liaising with trusted third-party referencing companies.
- Coordinate with Property Management, inventory clerks, and cleaning contractors to ensure a smooth move-in pipeline.
- Draw up and issue tenancy documents in compliance with current legislation.
- Arrange and conduct Right to Rent checks, move-in payments, and access for new tenants.
- Update internal systems to maintain clear and accurate records of new tenancies and legal documents.
- Report to the Lettings Manager, ensuring client targets and KPIs are met for tenancy progression and move-ins.
- Maintain strong organisational skills to manage multiple tenancies at once, ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the lettings team, supporting shared goals and maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Provide recommendations and solutions to issues that arise during tenancy progression, balancing short-term needs with long-term outcomes.
- Work in line with company policies, procedures, and timescales at all times.
Salary: £26,000-£28,000 (depending on experience) with annual bonus of up to 5%
