Job Title: Heat Pump / MVHR Engineer (Permanent & Subcontracting Opportunities)
Locations: London
Salary & Packages:
- Permanent: £45,000 – £80,000+ per year + Company Van, Fuel Card, Annual Leave & Benefits
- Subcontract: £2,000 – £5,000 per week (paid weekly, every Friday)
The Role
We are seeking experienced Heat Pump & MVHR Engineers to support the installation, servicing, and maintenance of Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) systems and Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) systems across domestic properties.
This role is ideal for engineers with a strong background in heating, plumbing, and ventilation systems, looking to work within the growing renewables sector.
You will be working on projects for energy suppliers, social housing providers, and private domestic clients, delivering high-quality, compliant installations and services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installation of ASHP systems and associated heating systems
- Installation and commissioning of MVHR systems (ducting, units, airflow balancing)
- Servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding on heat pump and ventilation systems
- Ensuring all work meets current industry regulations and standards
What You’ll Need
- Minimum 2 years’ experience installing Heat Pumps (ASHP)
- Experience working with MVHR systems (installation and/or servicing)
- Strong background in plumbing, heating, or HVAC
- Proven experience as a Gas Engineer
- BPEC Renewable qualification
- ACS Gas qualifications and Plumbing & Heating certifications
- Knowledge of ventilation standards and airflow balancing
- Up-to-date understanding of Gas Safe and building compliance standards
