We’re a friendly, family-run business with a busy workshop based in Sywell. We’re currently looking for an experienced and reliable Technician/Mechanic to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and is looking for a stable, long-term position.
Responsibilities
- Perform general vehicle servicing and maintenance
- Carry out MOT-related repairs to our own vehicle stock
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults using appropriate tools
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure vehicles are roadworthy
- Test drive vehicles to confirm repairs are successful
- Keep clear and accurate records of all work carried out
- Follow health & safety procedures in the workshop
- Work collaboratively with the team and independently when required
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a vehicle workshop
- Good knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and mechanical repairs
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Full UK Driving Licence (required)
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Occasional weekend work may be required
