Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mobile Phone & Laptop Hardware Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mobile phones and laptops. Responsibilities
- Diagnose hardware faults in mobile phones and laptops using schematics and technical manuals
- Repair or replace damaged components such as screens, batteries, motherboards, and other internal parts
- Utilise hand tools effectively to disassemble and reassemble devices with precision
- Conduct maintenance tasks to prevent future issues and optimise device performance
- Perform computer hardware repairs, including upgrading RAM, storage devices, or other internal components
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues related to computer networking within devices or peripherals
- Follow safety protocols during equipment repair to ensure personal safety and device integrity
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts utilised for each device
- Ensure all repairs meet quality standards before returning devices to clients or end-users
Experience
- Proven experience in electronic or hardware repair, preferably with mobile phones and laptops
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to small electronic components and device assembly
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools specific to electronics repair (e.g., screwdrivers, spudgers)
- Knowledge of computer hardware components and repair techniques
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams accurately
- Experience with computer repair tasks such as installing or upgrading hardware components
- Understanding of maintenance procedures for electronic equipment and peripherals
- Basic knowledge of computer networking principles is advantageous but not essential
- Prior experience in equipment repair within a professional setting is preferred
