Beauty, Laser & Advanced Skin Therapist
We are seeking a professional, experienced and passionate Beauty, Laser & Advanced Skin Therapist to join our friendly team.
The successful candidate must be confident providing treatments to both male and female clients. We are looking for someone who delivers excellent results, creates a comfortable client experience and maintains the highest professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform laser hair removal for male and female clients
- Provide electrolysis hair removal treatments
- Provide female and male waxing, including intimate(only female) waxing
- Carry out threading treatments
- Perform facials and advanced skincare treatments
- Provide microneedling treatments safely and professionally
- Conduct thorough client consultations and skin assessments
- Create personalised treatment plans
- Explain preparation, aftercare, benefits and potential risks
- Recommend appropriate skincare products and treatments
- Maintain accurate consultation forms and treatment records
- Follow strict hygiene, sanitation and health and safety procedures
- Keep treatment rooms and equipment clean and organised
- Recommend and upsell suitable treatments and retail products
- Work towards individual and salon sales targets
- Stay informed about new treatments, products and industry developments
Essential Skills and Experience
- Previous professional experience in laser hair removal
- Experience and appropriate qualifications in electrolysis
- Experience providing male and female waxing
- Experience in threading and facial treatments
- Experience and appropriate qualifications in microneedling
- Relevant beauty therapy, laser and advanced skincare qualifications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Fluent spoken English
- Professional, friendly and well-presented
- Strong attention to detail
- Confident discussing treatment plans and aftercare
- Comfortable recommending products and additional treatments
- Motivated and able to achieve sales targets
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, organised and punctual
- A genuine passion for beauty, skincare and client care
