We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Warehouse / Production Operative to join our team at Aerovac Keighley. This is a hands-on role supporting both production and warehouse operations, helping us meet exact business standards and customer requirements in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will operate production machinery, complete general warehouse duties, maintain quality and traceability records, and contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery safely and efficiently, including loading feed mechanisms and monitoring output.
- Carry out production tasks such as rewinding, perforating, slitting, measuring, and quality checks.
- Identify and report process or machine issues, completing basic adjustments and maintenance tasks where required.
- Complete production, quality, and traceability records accurately.
- Safely operate lifting equipment, including FLTs, pallet stackers, and other materials handling equipment where trained.
- Receive, locate, pick, pack, and move stock in line with warehouse procedures.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping across production areas, warehouse spaces, and external forecourts.
- Work closely with colleagues and communicate effectively across shifts and departments.
About You
- Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or similar operational environment.
- FLT training or experience with counterbalance, reach truck, or pallet stacker equipment is desirable.
- Experience with machine setting, basic maintenance, safety checks, or quality procedures would be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately at pace.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with a positive team-working approach.
- Safety-conscious, proactive, and able to identify and manage workplace risks.
- Able to lift, move, and handle stock safely in line with manual handling requirements.
- Minimum of 3 GCSEs, with good verbal, written communication, and numeracy skills.
