Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse or Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Deliver comprehensive patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of treatment plans
- Administer medication accurately and safely in accordance with prescribed instructions
- Monitor patient vital signs and observe for any changes in condition, reporting concerns promptly
- Support patients with their daily activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity are maintained at all times
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalised care strategies
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatments
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, medication regimes, and self-care practices
- Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and health & safety regulations
Requirements
- Valid registration as a Nurse (RN) or Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Proven experience in patient care within a hospital, mental health facility, or similar environment
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to nursing practice
- Proficiency in medication administration and understanding of pharmacology principles
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient support
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including nights, weekends, or unsociable hours if necessary.
