Commodity Trader – Feed
Location: Uxbridge
NB; this is fulltime onsite in Uxbridge and unfortunately cannot provide Visa Sponsorship at this time.
We’re looking for a commercially minded Commodity Trader to manage the sourcing and procurement of key feed commodities across Pilgrim’s Europe.
What You’ll Do

Source and purchase key feed commodities including cereals, proteins, oilseeds and by-products

Execute trading strategies aligned to procurement, risk and supply requirements

Monitor commodity markets and provide market intelligence to stakeholders

Negotiate supplier contracts, pricing and logistics arrangements

Support commodity risk management and exposure reporting
What You’ll Bring
-
Degree in Business, Agriculture, Animal Science, Supply Chain or a related field

Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
-
Knowledge of agricultural commodity markets and feed ingredients

Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capability
-
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable:

Experience with commodity trading, procurement or risk management

Knowledge of futures, options or hedging strategies
-
Experience with Power BI, Python or data analysis tools
